I invite you to explore my
“Artist, Know Thyself”
Mini-Workshop
As seen in:
Imagine …
working joyfully and freely, rather than resisting your own creative process…
In this foundational mini-workshop, Artist, Know Thyself, I’ll introduce you to a few concepts that will help you work more freely.
Your Modus Operandi: How to understand and stop resisting your own ways of working and work at your best.
Your Creative Engine: Learn fun, creative tools to align your “have-to-dos” with your “want-to-dos,” and love the hard stuff, too.
Trust Your Own Process : Learn the best way to stop second-guessing the plans you lay out for yourself—and to make more progress.
With the process I teach, my students have been able to
stay true to their own creative vision while building the confidence to venture into new territory.
Instead of a mere accountability buddy, who pesters clients to check off task boxes, Shannon helps me to evaluate what exactly is at the center of the challenge. WHY am I procrastinating or afraid? WHAT is stopping me from taking action? WHY am I accountable to everyone but myself?

Coach and Community Builder
Without Shannon’s guidance, my shift to a creative career path would have remained rocky and unfocused. Coaching has helped me change how I view myself as an artist and provided me with the professional tools to grow my business.

Coaching allowed me to combine my art with my leadership goals, and to pursue a masters in public policy and environmental studies while maintaining my art practice.”

Nature Educator & Activist
Hi, I’m Shannon!
I’m an artist, certified life coach, author, and beachcomber.
After a career in magazine publishing and the wine business in the Pacific Northwest, I have been following a lifelong dream to become an artist.
I held back for many years - from my own brain, and a serious case of Impostor Syndrome. Finally, at age 50, I vowed to overcome it for myself, and I did! It took years and a lot of work! But I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to be creating the life I always imagined: making art, learning, just living the artist’s life!
And now help other creative artists get past their own blocks so they can create an artist’s life they love.
I finished an MFA in painting at age 60. I’ve been teaching painting and color theory - and thought work, of course!, helping artists and creatives realize their dreams.
I’d love to help you, too!
